The Impact

Valerie Lopez
Valerie Lopez is a small town Hispanic girl from upstate New York who has big dreams and endless potential. She is a journalism major going into her sophomore year, hoping to one day write for Time magazine. She is half Venezuelan and half Mexican, likes to write about social and cultural issues.  She is also a music fanatic and loves Travis Scott, G Herbo , playboi Carti , lil uzi and Sza. She has a love for art at all forms and is an avid dancer during her free time. She also has an insight on mental health since she has experienced her fair share of hiccups.  She is very blunt and real, and sometimes funny, so expect to chuckle at her articles.

She writes a column titled  ChatswithVal.
