A comedian and a reactor share a stage and everything is a cruel comment until the moral line is crossed but everyone’s eyes are glued to the screen watching the fire shot and reaction, why doesn’t YouTube have a policy for such metaphoric firearms?
Alia Shelesh, also known as SSSniperwolf, on Instagram had a poll vote and her fans passed by a house on her way from a shoot.
SSSniperwolf has done the most to violate both social and YouTube terms of service. She has come to another creator’s house uninvited, the said “intention” was to talk while he was streaming Jack Douglas also known as Jacksfilms, 35-year-old American YouTuber and videographer.
He was his home during the time with his wife and a few hours later. The highest Google search for Jack Douglas is for his home address.
He has released a video titled, “SSSniperwolf came to our home last night. It’s time for YouTube to step in.”
While SSSniperwolf said she doesn’t know how to doxxed and jokes about getting a restraining order,
SSSniperwolf is famous and infamous, for having a Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice award with a criminal record. Arrested twice once for armed robbery.
And now being sued by her divorced husband for not getting half of the channel profit and “allegedly” the true mastermind running the main channel down to the gameplay after breaking up, locking him out, and taking full control.
Besides that, people have been muckraking her history of inappropriate behavior from years ago on Omegle.
Jacksfilms has been criticizing SSSniperwolf for two months over the way she makes content, and the way she has been reacting to it and considers it more as freebooting.
Freebooting is the act of “stealing content and uploading to another website or platform.” A violation of copyright.
The way she makes her content is by just watching TikTok and leaving the videos she watches uncredited as unsourced. She isn’t the only one who has done this even Jason Derulo has seemed to lazily put his own music and the same expressions.
According to Google the owner of YouTube when asked for fair use on YouTube, “Courts typically focus on whether the use of copyright-protected material is ‘transformative.’ This means whether the use adds new expression or meaning to the original material, or whether it merely copies from the original.”
Commercial uses are less likely to be considered fair use, but it’s still possible to monetize a video that contains fair-use material.
And it alines with U.S. copyright rules, “Transformative uses are those that add something new, with a further purpose or different character and do not substitute for the original use of the work. Nature of the copyrighted work: This factor analyzes the degree to which the work that was used relates to copyright’s purpose of encouraging creative expression.”
But there are four rulings to see if a work is transformative.
YouTube has 2.70 billion users on the site with strict bots and algorithms they can only control what said what people say on the platform but not control out.
Youtube might have the employees but the Youtuber is more like a freelance entertainer even down to their Partner Program of filling out 1099 tax forms.
Are the YouTube guidelines just suggestions on what to do or real rules they can decide to enforce?
Will YouTube enforce the rules and drop the hammer or bend over to play fairy god parent so SSSniperwolf can continue to manipulate DA rule? She has favorably because the platform has heavily promoted her.
Just because you follow the rule and make something transformative does that give you the right to have it your way?
If this goes on there is no telling what can happen. We live in some fairy odd times.
We can only say what if. If one person gets the exception, so does everyone else on the platform.
Will critics be allowed to be harsh to the point of cyberbullying their subject to change, will an angry fan or even a mod go to a creator’s house? They’re no victims in the situation.
When is the line drawn before stepping on or off the property line of a state to do an action? If you ask me the battle is not ending any time soon.
I think everyone is a loser, trying to keep their fame, trying to have the play of the game. The time for talk seems to be over the same moment surprise action approaches now all talk of an ultimatum as the solution.
If you ask me YouTube does have a class for the creator to reform whenever one gets a strike to better and they have always a shadow ban, even two community strikes.
Who knows if the court or public opinion will make YouTube do something or more before time and law will put everyone to their duty and the jury comes to court. SSSniper has now apologized.
YouTube has currently temporarily suspended now SSSniperwolf monetization and condemned both sides of the argument after days of hounding from the people of X to make a response.
Jack has recently decided to stop his series of criticizing SSSniperwolf videos and decide to help the fans by allowing them to send him videos and in exchange for 10 seconds of fame give them constructive criticism to help improve their own work.
While SSSniperwolf is at the mercy of the court and the internet.
