Blue milk was a drink that Luke Skywalker consumed in the original trilogy and you can do this thanks to TruMoo. The packaging depicts the iconic Luke vs Darth Vader fight from The Empire Strikes Back.
Fan service for Star Wars fans who can not get a fun call back but taste more of their franchise. But has the franchise been milked? Being exploited for every last bit of the fan love for the franchise.
When I went to the Cyberpunk and Technoculture Cult Discord about their thought on the franchise and blue milk, Sadly the milk is vanilla flavor and any further comment is in further development.
Maalik was unaware of the Trumoo promotion but loved the Star Wars franchise and didn’t think much but was later asked and other members of the discord group if the franchised was being exploited or milked.
Maalik replied, “Not really, We’ve gotten some amazing things out of recently from Star Wars. Bad Batch, Vision, Clone Wars season 8, Mandalorian, Ahsoka, And then Acolyte is coming soon. And we’re finally getting high republic stuff. Not to mention the games Survivor and Fallen Order. So yeah Star Wars is doing great right now.”
“Then we’ve got Tales of the Empire coming soon.”
Released May 4, 2024, on Star War Day premiered with six episodes.
Alexisdls, “I wouldn’t say milked it’s just a very expansive world so there’s a lot of things, people, and places to explore allowing it the freedom to create so many shows.”
Maalik agrees with the idea saying “Yup. It’s a big, big, big, big galaxy.”
Happy Star Wars Day and May the Fourth be with you. Who knows maybe someday we can get fresh green milk for The Last Jedi!
“I’d say Star Wars isn’t too big since someone who enjoys all of the content would say it’s just fine, and anyone who thinks there’s too much content can ignore any of it. The weird thing about it is how it has to all work within canon, everything new is locked in service to decades of canon, which maybe constricts what the stories could be if they had total freedom to create. So much is fan service. But again if someone doesn’t like any of it they don’t have to watch it, it’s made for the people who enjoy it.”
But as time changes and franchises expand and seem too expansive, it can still be enjoyed.
