Why did you chose to wear #11 as your jersey number?

“When I turned 11, everyone started fighting over their jersey numbers so that was the last jersey number with real signifigance for me. It was some kind of mighty number.”

What brought you to Mercy ?

“The basketball coach here at Mercy was friends with my high school coach so we had a good rapport and I liked her system. I looked at other schools but ultimately came here because I liked the coach.”

Life after Mercy?

“I’ve fielded a few offers to play ball overseas so looking into that. Hoping t0 play overseas. If that doesn’t work out, I coach softball so I’ll try to continue that pursuit.”

Favorite athlete?

“Diana Taurasi. Coming from Connetticut, I was always a UCONN fan and she was the team. I always admired the way she played.”

Best advice you’ve ever gotten?

“First coach at Mercy, always seemed to be putting me down. She was hard on me and when I went to her about, she told me that if she ever stopped riding me, that it meant she gave up on me. I can always improve and should never get complacent.”
