Nine Signs That You’re A True Pisces
March 2, 2015
Pisces season has arrived and it’s our time to shine, but we’re a complicated zodiac sign. Here are nine signs that you’re a true Pisces:
1. We experience feelings (ours AND other people’s) very deeply
We are sensitive souls, and our empathy, while valuable, can make us quite emotional as we take on other people’s problems as our own.
2. We’re generous and compassionate.
We are perhaps the sign that is most willing to sacrifice itself for the good of others. This makes us appreciated and well-loved, but we must also be careful that our generosity is not taken advantage of.
3. We’re easy to spend time with and go with the flow.
We tend to be laid-back and flexible. On the flip side, it can sometimes be hard to be self-motivated or make a decision and stick to it (like being self-motivated to write this TILT)
4. We’re dreamers.
We tend to be spiritual, reflective people who like to think about ourselves and our place in the world. We might rely on other people to keep us grounded in reality, because we could daydream for hours.
5. Our favorite kind of party: pity party.
We have a tendency for getting our feelings and wishes whipped up within ourselves, which can lead to us becoming quite discouraged. We can become a bit sluggish, and likely enjoy wandering around the house in sweatpants.
6. We don’t really believe in “having plans.”
Rather than making concrete plans, or shopping by a list, or relying on our GPS, we’d rather let things happen naturally and spontaneously. Sometimes this backfires wildly! But sometimes it goes fine.
7. We’re artsy.
We tend to be artistic, with natural gifts for painting, music, poetry, and so on. Artistic expression is often one of the few areas in which we feel comfortable sharing our talents with others.
8. We have a hard time saying “no.”
(And not just to tequila.) We never want to hurt anyone’s feelings (although it may come naturally in some situations), which contributes to our unease with confrontation and turning others down, leaving us to feel obligated to do something all the time.
9. We’re hopeless romantics.
Ain’t it the truth?! Our creativity and sensitivity make us natural-born romantics (die-hard for me), and our compassion urges us to do any number of small, cute things for the people we like/are involved with. We just have to be careful not to get TOO wrapped up in our relationships.
