A lot of disappointment by the New York Jets with an 0-9 record so far in the NFL season. With that being said the Jets are eligible for the number one draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Jets have been eyeing the Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Many Jets fans hope that the Jets will draft him in the 2021 NFL Draft.

It shouldn’t be too hard because mostly everyone knows that Trevor Lawrence is the number one draft pick and the Jets are eligible to be the first team to draft. It might be the New York Giants that drafts him but who knows. He is the number one pick and for now, the Jets are going to draft him.

The Jets fans that hope the Jets draft have a say if the Jets draft Lawrence then it increases the Jets chances to do well in the 2021 NFL season.

The Jets would still need to rebuild during that but other than that it’s all good. The Jets already have a good left tackle in Mekhi Becton, all they need is for the rookie drafted by the Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft Jabari Zuniga to be a great pass rusher, and a great quarterback in Lawrence.

Once they have all of that then their set sure they need some wide receivers but really the key to make the Jets a good team is their defense which they have one of the best so far, good tackles to protect the quarterback from sack/blitzes, and a great quarterback.

That’s one of the reasons why the New England Patriots and the Jets have been rivals since the NFL started.

The Patriots have always done that since they had a great quarterback in Tom Brady.

Since Brady left the Patriots to go play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which has been his first time as a free agent he has spent his entire career with the Patriots so since Brady left the Patriots early in 2020 before the season had started the Patriots have not been doing so well.

Jets fans are happy that Brady left the Patriots because they can now win some games vs the Patriots.

The Jets were winning some games against the Patriots with Brady on the team but very minimal. Now that Brady left the Patriots the Jets have a higher chance of winning more games against the Patriots.

This week the Jets had a bye week meaning that they don’t play any games for the week. There are seventeen weeks in an NFL season and so far the Jets haven’t won any games.

Before every season there is a four-game preseason when all 32 teams figure out who’s is going to be the starting quarterback for that season.

There is only one season when the Jets had an outstanding record and it was in 1969 and they went on to win the Super Bowl that year and they haven’t won a super bowl since that time.

However, that was not the last time they were in the playoffs. The last time the Jets were in the playoffs was in 2010 and they haven’t made it since then.

Once they came close to the playoffs in 2015 but they had lost the last game of that season to the Buffalo Bills.

There are two conferences in the NFL, the National Football Conference aka the NFC and the American Football Conference aka the AFC. Each conference is split up into divisions the east, west, north, and south. The Jets play in what is known as the AFC East.

The AFC East has four teams in it as well as all the other divisions. The teams in the AFC East are the Buffalo Bills, the New York Jets, the New England Patriots, and the Miami Dolphins.

The NFC East consists of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants, and the Washington Football Team formally known as the Washington Redskins.

Both the AFC East and the NFC East teams play against each other once every four years or so but it varies. Except for the preseason that’s when the AFC East and the NFC East play against each other like almost every game.
