“We are gonna get her back,” said Mimi
May 6, 2023 the Ending of O.M.G was premiered with superhero Moongirl aka Lunella Lafayette and supervillain Morlak fates left on a cliffhanger as she sacrificed herself to close an unstable portal to the multiverse.
Six months later, we were greeted with two new episodes The Great Beyond-er and Suited Up.
Watching the show on my iPhone using the Optimum app after recharging my fixed up laptop that need a new operating, outdated but working.
Season 1 has introduced The Beyonder, He is no Watcher. With crazy abilities and sent on the task to learn about human beings.
But when the Beyonder powers were down so did his hair and swagger.
It was hilarious to see the once all powerful being who was able to erase all of humanity and make infinite sandwiches and edit an episode with his 4th wall breaks but saddening how for someone who once all knowing and powerful attempting to learn about humanity suffered a universal concept like thirst and learning how to tippy toe.
If any take away it actually taught this guy with a guide to how to make a braid.
It is fun seeing the consequences of Eons of his acts and even from variants of Moongirl or Devilgirl.
But a real highlight was Molecule Man, who may seem to have a different design from his usual comic book appearance but still show one case of multiversal threat with his signature wand.
It may seem silly but the wand is not only able to disable power and heavily imply from the colorful imagery he could rearrange molecules to whatever he saw fit.
With a flick of a wrist, as long he has his wand in hand, being able to bend and use whatever around him is his imagination. His power made Lunella made her shook and impact as she face him on, getting a brutal beating and getting slowly buried her and about to step on her if it wasn’t for The Beyonder.
The six month hiatus for season 2, after the first massive adventure was two hours return.
Suiting up, it was basically Lunella going overboard trying to make herself invulnerable.
While L.E.S. Or the Lower East Side has their hometown hero, the multiverse has a bunch of inter-dimensional villains coming after her.
But there’s a more deadly threat than the multiverse to Moongirl, the show is on season 2. Disney are no longer cable but to the future streaming.
Disney TVA has a tendency to cut stories getting only to 2 and 3, if they fail to get the streaming views then it ends prematurely. Many show rarely get ending they desire like the Ghost and Molly Maggie and Owl House.
