8 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Time Of The Year

8 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Time Of The Year

1. Halloween

You can dress up and be whoever you want to be for one night. No judgment. Well, maybe a little.

 2. Thanksgiving

Food food food food. Rest. Food food food food. Football and rest. Food food food food. Desert. Food food food food. Nap.

3. Football

Redskins record: 4-2

Giants record: 3-3

Now I have a question: How many New York Giants does it take to change a tire?

Answer: One, unless it’s a blowout, in which case they all show up.

4. Pumpkin Spice= Everything

When fall arrives, my blood type turns to pumpkin spice.

Bagels, coffee, and muffins… oh pie! Pumpkin candles, lotion, chapstick, cookies, candy and everything fancy… oh my goodies.

5. Layering

After 9 months, you can FINALLY show off your fancy schmancy style with cute fall layers. Oversized sweaters, scarves, leggings, and combat boots. It’s so much fun, even your dog even dresses up too. Your closet is your oyster. Sounds like perfection to me.

6. Leaf Changing

Close your eyes and picture this: You’re standing on a rocky road that winds through the woods. You can hear the wind blowing the trees from side to side and can feel the leaves hit your face as they collect at your feet in a pile. Now open your eyes and this is what you see:

(That’s the road to my Grandparent’s house. Gorgeous, I know.)

7. Cozyness

Imagine it’s a cool, brisk night out. You’re watching a romantic movie with your bae, cuddled up on the floor that you made into a little bed with pillows and soft blankets, and a warm burning fire right by your feet. Well, unless you don’t have a bae… I guess that counts me out. But it sounds nice to think about at least.

Of course, I have to save the best for last. Gilmore Girls comes back November 25. Four 90 minutes episodes from the season: A Year In The Life.

I cannot contain my excitement! I may have just cried a little.
