Top 10 Marvel Movies Ranked
Top 10 Marvel Movies
When you go down the top 10 Marvel Movies, you are going to have to go through 27 of them. But I do not think that it is that hard to name your top 10 if you really go into detail about how well done, and then some that are very far from good. Marvel movies have one of the biggest fanbases in all of cinema and that comes with the benefits and negatives. Some fans will argue that all the movies are good no matter what because of the fact that they cannot see the negatives. I am here to rank the top 10 Marvel movies in my opinion that are fully non biased… maybe.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
The reason GOTG Vol 2 is at number 10 is because of the fact that Vol 1 was really good and set such a high standard for the second one. That is not putting anything past the second movie, but it just did not reach the same hype as the first. But that does not mean it was not a masterpiece. The soundtracks for the GOTG movies will always be top-tier, and with Chris Pratt you are always going to have constant comedy along with being able to pull on your heartstrings as well.
- Black Panther
Rest in Peace to Chadwick Boseman. The acting performance that he put on in this movie will always mean something to me and all of the Marvel fanbase. Along with that, this movie absolutely rocked everyone’s world when it came out, with people who had not even seen a marvel movie before come out and watch because of all the hype. Ryan Coogler did an awesome job in directing this movie and no doubt is worth the re-watch or first time watch whenever you get the chance.
- Captain America The First Avenger
Captain America will always be one of the main characters from the MCU. People fell in love with Chris Evans as CAP and in every movie he was in he always stole the show. The writing, acting, soundtrack, love stories, it all hit differently in the first Captain America movie. This was the first installment of the trilogy for Captain America but this was probably one of the first times that a second installment was ranked higher throughout many people and critics.
- Avengers Age of Ultron
I know everyone is probably thinking how is an Avengers movie that has all of these different types of really famous actors and characters only at 7. Well that is because out of the 4 Avengers movies, it just did not have that same feel as the other ones did. Because of all of the starpower that came in with this movie that is why it ranks within the top 7, but that is purely what it is at, number 7. It introduces Wanda who we now know as one of the biggest Marvel characters, which is why it holds true to this spot.
- Spiderman No Way Home
If you have not seen this movie then you are definitely missing out on some of the best action scenes and feelings you will ever feel from a superhero movie. Spiderman has always been the fan favorite for many people growing up as he is one of the oldest comic book superheroes we have ever seen. Created by Stan Lee, we have seen 3 main actors play Spiderman, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and now Tom Holland. We get to see all of these actors in the same movie which we felt was never going to be possible, and it happened.
- Iron Man
Now we have reached the top 5, where I personally feel that these next 5 movies are no doubt in being ranked here. Yeah you can have any of the movies you feel are good from 6-10 but these next 5 if you don’t have them here i’m not sure you know Marvel. And we start with Iron Man. The first movie ever in the MCU and it just set the staple for all the future movies to come. RDJ does an amazing job as Iron Man and I cannot imagine anyone else ever playing him.
- Captain America Civil War
Captain America Civil War to me is basically just another Avengers movie but without the name. This movie introduces Spiderman for the first time in the MCU which was something all fans were very much looking forward to. It sets aside two different parts of the MCU to go against each other, Heroes vs Heros, as we see the team Iron Man recruits, against the team the CAP recruits. Definitely a fun watch and an important one in the MCU.
- Avengers Endgame
I feel that Avengers Endgame, even though it is the last movie of phase 3 and the culmination of many characters that we have spent so many years watching, it is not the best Marvel movie out there. Other than that, we see an absolutely breathtaking performance from Josh Brolin who plays Thanos, one of the MCUs best villains to ever take the screen in front of our eyes. And he takes his final battle against all of the MCUs biggest heroes, in a movie that I will forever tell my kids about.
- Thor Ragnarok
Thor Ragnarok is one of the funniest MCU movies there ever has been. And sometimes that is exactly what is needed in a series of movies that is for the most part trying to be serious. Thor is a character that many people hold on the same standard as Iron Man and Captain America, because of how long he has been in the MCU. This movie does a great job at showing Thor’s other side of himself. We finally see more into his personal life that was lacking throughout his other solo movies.
- Avengers Infinity War
And finally we are at number 1 which I feel is no doubt the best Marvel Movie that there has ever been. Avengers Infinity War. From the deaths, to the battles, to the strategy and comedy, this movie has it all. I have never been at the edge of my seat as much as I was during this movie, in which we saw the mighty Avengers who have never lost a battle, go down to the hands and team of the mighty titan, Thanos.
