Gailen Leon, Impact Staff
Gailen Leon is a Junior at Mercy College pursuing her B.S. in Veterinary Technology with a minor in Media Studies/Journalism. Ever since she was a child, she loved to feed and rescue anything that crossed her path, such as dogs, cats, and even rats. She also enjoys freelancing as a graphic designer.
Gailen’s passion for advocacy flourishes in college where she serves as Vice President and Social Media Officer for the Rotaract Club and PR Officer for the Future Veterinary Professionals Club.
She is enthusiastic to start her journey with The Impact News writing a column titled The Furry Corner, which focuses on the veterinary world including latest news, interesting cases, and tips for pet owners.
