Mercy College Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Dr. William E. Martinov, Jr., and Mercy College Trustee Julio Garcia ’87, president and COO, Contour Asset Management, will be running in the ING New York City Marathon 2012 on Nov. 4 to raise funds to endow a new scholarship.
The Mercy College NYC Marathon Scholarship will be funded entirely by charitable donations with the goal to raise $26,200—$1,000 for every mile of the 26.2 mile race—and will be open to students who reside in the five boroughs of New York City and meet certain academic excellence and financial need requirements.
