The world is familiar with Jada Pinkett Smith—or Jada Shakur. She does not, however, keep everyone posted on her life. I see Jada involved in some issue wherever I look. Tupac Shakur was not a musician I grew up listening to, but I know quite a bit about him because of Pinkett’s views. Yet, the reason Jada feels so strongly against her husband, Will Smith, is well known. Remarkably honest about her feelings for Will. Even so, we are already familiar with Will Smith. Renowned performer, composer, producer—you name it. All I can say is that he is one of those performers who is kind to people he loves.
However, regardless of what he does for Jada, given what the world gains from her insights, it does not acknowledge her.
It was more about race than anything else, even if it was terrible to see a successful Black man disgrace an established Black man at the Oscars. You would believe Will did it to protect his wife, and to be fair, it is commendable that anyone married would want to protect those they love. However, it is clear from looking at Jada’s expression that she was not impressed. None. How come? She will never be satisfied no matter what Will does for her.
Why, then, does she not move on from him? We came to find out the reason she was not happy was because both quietly divorced in 2016. I assume a shock to others, yet Will trying to get back her love led to the slap at the Oscars. His actions were not, in fact, justified, but for Jada to bash Will after the events is also messed up. Will expects Jada’s loyalty towards him when, in my eyes, if it is not Tupac standing with her, loyalty does not exist. Because Jada is not a good person in my opinion, we’re in a society where famous people are glorified by their talents and success. I cannot take that away from them because hard work rewards you, yet that does not mean every successful person has a good heart. As a famous person with a big platform, you should understand that it should be allowed to be viewed.
I dug deep into archives and saw interviews of Jada belittling Will during their wedding day, stating she cried because she did not want to be with him. From her statement in recent interviews, Tupac was supposed to propose, but he sadly passed away. The infamous Jada and August Alsina affair. Yet people tend to speed past the fact Jada cheated on her husband with her son’s friend. But instead of addressing Will privately, she gets Will on her talk show to embarrass him. She broke down the situation to Will while he had a depressed facial expression, showing the world what we needed to know about her. Yet people poke fun at Will.
Making jokes tearing him down, and I wonder why he is getting so much backlash. A married man getting cheated on becomes public to the world, and he becomes the laughingstock of social media. Tyrese wanted to get his daughter back and chose to address his situation on social media because he felt nobody would have listened to him behind the scenes. So, instead of people having his back, he was tormented by it.
Back then, the world made fun of Will, but now people are starting to see that Jada is the problem. I do not know why people had taken this long to realize. Jada is a wrong person, and I understand that if someone is in a marriage and the other significant other does not tolerate them anymore, that is life. But to not leave and instead bash them for publicity is sickening.
