Luis Ruiz, Impact Staff
Luis Ruiz is currently a Sophomore at Mercy College. He is currently enrolled in the Media Studies major here at Mercy while pursuing his dream of being a sports analyst/journalist at jobs such as ESPN, ABC, Fox and many more. Ruiz is also on the baseball team at Mercy where he spends most of his free time before or after class. Raised in a small town called Weehawken in New Jersey, Ruiz hopes to make himself and his very supporting family proud while at Mercy and beyond.
Ruiz also spends a lot of his free time stressfully watching his favorite sports teams such as the New York Yankees and Giants.
Ruiz writes a column titled Beyond the Ring , which focuses on the lives of select professional wrestlers/fighters outside of what we see inside the ring.
