The Mavericks move to 17-3 on the year with a 3-1 win over No. 3 Southern New Hampshire University in the NCAA round of 32. The prior matchup between the two teams resulted in a 2-1 win for SNHU. This game, the Mavericks came out on top, with Serna leading the team again with a goal and an assist. Also adding a goal for the Mavericks is junior Corinna Ferrante, and sophomore Natalia Elizarraras.

The Mavericks take on the Pioneers in a tight match up this Friday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. on Mercy Field. The winner of this game will move on to play in the Elite Eight on Sunday.

The Mavericks and Pioneers met twice this year in previous games. The first matchup between the two resulted in a Pioneer win. The latest matchup however resulted in a smashing 3-0 Mavericks win to take home the ECC Championship.
